Community Leaders

Your voice matters: Community leaders across Wisconsin continue to experience the impact of child care issues and the importance of optimal health and well-being of our youngest children. Whether you are a health care or mental health professional, education expert, municipal or community group leader or simply an engaged resident, you have the power to share your experiences and how policy solutions will make a meaningful impact.

Elected officials need to hear from you.

Leaders from rural and urban Wisconsin – Amery, Watertown, Milwaukee and Black River Falls – shared insights and expertise on their journey to rally community support and push forward solutions.

IN HIS WORDS

“If we invest in our kids early, they’re going to have more success in school, they’re going to have more success in the workplace, they’re going to avoid the criminal justice program … it really comes down to, we can invest in these kids now, or we can pay a lot of money later on.”
